Amalfi

Amalfi, the main city of the coast and once a powerful maritime commercial center, offers its visitors many architectural beauties including the spectacular cathedral of S. Andrea. Built in the thirteenth century, this cathedral with Arab influences is located at the top of a steep staircase and houses the relics of Sant'Andrea Apostolo in its crypt.
